Natalie’s weight loss diary

Natalie is one of my hypno gastric band weight loss clients.  She has decided to blog her weight loss experience.  You can review her blog on this link.

Hypno Gastric Band Weight Loss - Testimonial

Thank you to Nat G for her testimonial:

“Before I started my life change I had been eating all the wrong types of food as I was not allowing myself time to eat the correct food at meal times.  I would often skip breakfast and then snack between meals.  This would leave me feeling bloated, sluggish, having no energy.  My weight had always been a problem because I had allowed it to be since I was about 16.  Not only had I been eating the wrong types of foods but when I went out I would binge drink on Beer, Sambuca, Vodka, Cider and Jeager Bombs.

I then went for my first session with Ann who then asked me who my main people in my life were and where did my problem start I explained this to ann who then did some relaxation with me (I have never been so relaxed in my life).  A lot of my weight problem has also had a huge effect on my confidence level and this is something that I feel is coming back.  After the first session I walked out of the room feeling so confident and that I can crack the eating problem.

My second session with ann had me in a very relaxed state again and its a strange experience where I can remember feeling dirty when she spoke about the food/drink I had been putting into my body.  After leaving that session it has had me thinking more about the foods I had previous had and also about eating between meals.  I then had Christmas where I would usually eat more that I could take and drink more than I could take.  This year its been different as after following the advice given I didn’t do any of it in fact I had been put to the test when going out to a restaurant for a family meal and everyone looked at me when I declined a pudding.  At the moment I am focusing on making time for meals and not using excuses for eating rubbish.  Also when I look in the mirror I am not cringing when I look at myself as I had done previous I look and say you can really crack this.  I now drink water before meals.  I am not thinking of this as a diet but a life change.

My operation session has been today so on the way home I tested myself and drove past a chip shop and the smell made me feel sick.  I cant wait for the results to start showing and I would like to thank Ann for her time already.  This means the world to me to look good and to also save myself from any long term health problems.”

New Year’s Resolution to Quit Smoking?

If you value your looks, enjoy them whilst you are young as smoking ages your skin, hair and teeth.  Once you get over 30 it will start catching up with you.  It also makes your breath, hair and clothes smell unpleasant.  Non-smokers will probably be too polite to tell you how disgusting that smell is.  This is an interesting slide show on how smoking ages you.

Health issues associated with smoking include:

  • Lung Cancer
  • Emphysema
  • Fertility Problems
  • Heart Attacks
  • Strokes
  • Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
  • Cancer of Larynx
  • Cancer of the Mouth
  • Pancreatic Cancer
  • Early Menopause
