Tonight’s Boot Camp

There were some great performances in tonight’s boot camp.  Mel’s running goes from strength to strength and Mariana put in some impressive press ups.  It’s great to see improvements which are always noticeable in those that are most consistent with attending.  Keep up the good work, you will be rewarded with more games of frisbie!

Saturday’s Boot Camp

Saturday’s boot camp is at Chouet at 10.00 am.  Weather forecast is good so bring the SPF 30.

Caffeine

Caffeine is responsible for many health and wellbeing issues, including high blood pressure, insomnia, depletion of vitamins and minerals and irregular heartbeats.  Caffeine is an addictive substance and can prove a difficult habit to kick. 

If you can’t get going without your first coffee of the day, then you are addicted.  Have a day without caffeinated drinks and see if you get a reaction.  If you do, then you are most likely addicted.  Caffeine is not just in tea and coffee, it is contained in many soft drinks too.

There are lots of caffeine free alternatives on the market including bambu, barley and chicory based drinks.  Give them a go.  It might take a little while to become accustomed to their taste.  Don’t consider these as coffee substitutes as they have their own flavours.
