What ‘Global Warming’?

I’ve been cycle racing for 15 years and never experienced conditions like I did in today’s road race.  Strong winds, low temperatures and heavy rain (sometimes hail) all equated to a very low windchill temperature which impacted our core temperatures to such an extent that some of us were suffering mild or moderate hypothermia.  

I’ve always said that cycling should be a fair weather sport and there is something to be said for velodrome riding.  Not sure I like this ‘global warming’ - not all it is cracked up to be.
