Banana business

Bananas are perfect for after an exercise session.  This is when your body is ready to process carbohydrates and prefers something that is going to get into your system fast.  Bananas are a sugary fruit so serve the purpose well.

Not only this but they have numerous health benefits including reducing the risk of high blood pressure, reduce heart burn due to their antacid effect, they can also help eradicate the bacteria in your stomach that causes ulcers.  Eating bananas can aid calcium absorption and therefore contribute to healthy bones.

They help recovery from both diarrhea and constipation.  They also contain iron so can can help against anaemia.
