Valentine Foods for Love

I’ve noted some “love” foods below, some of which might surprise you.  Well, I had to really; it is Valentine’s Day after all.

Banana – no, not because of its shape (well perhaps for some) but because of its soft creamy texture.  It has an enzyme called bromelain which has been shown to enhance male performance.  Go guys!!

Oysters – no surprise that I have included these I am sure.  Did you know that some oysters repeatedly change their sex from male to female and revert back – how odd.  It is therefore suggested that the oyster allows one to experience the masculine and feminine sides of love.  I guess you won’t know until you’ve tried!

Radish – perhaps not expected to be on my “love” food list.  Radishes are reported to be an aphrodisiac by Egyptian pharaohs.  It is thought that this is because its spicy taste arouses the palate.

Asparagus - the shape of some foods plays a part in determining whether it is an aphrodisiac.  However, asparagus has more to offer than its apparent suggestive form (not that I ever looked at an asparagus in that way). These contain Vitamin E, which are believed to stimulate sex hormones and therefore contribute to a healthy sex life and increased sexual powers.  Don’t eat too much though as it can make your urine smell!  Hmm, not so sexy huh.
