Set yourself a workout plan

So often I see people in the gym unsure what they want to do that day, so they end up doing an unstructured training session and don’t get a great return for their efforts.

Have a workout plan and make a note of your results, ie the exercise, the weight you lift, number of repetitions and sets or for cardio, note the relevant variables, ie level, distance covered etc.

Take that session log with you each time you go to the gym and update it.  This gives your session more purpose, enables you to see your improvements and motivates you to improve.
